- The Chicago house legend will play at The Sugar Club next Sunday.
Veteran Chicago house DJ Lil' Louis will make his debut appearance in Dublin next weekend.
Formally known as Louis Burns, Lil' Louis has been a pioneer of house music since the '80s, when he developed into one of the most popular DJs in Chicago. His tracks have always flirted with house and R&B, and he has a number of hugely popular hits to his name, including 1989's pitch-shifting "French Kiss" (included on his acclaimed LP From the Mind of...) and 1992's "Club Lonely". These days his production output is relatively slim, but he's stayed busy taking over parties around the world, with his set at The Sugar Club on Bank Holiday Sunday being part of a tour across Europe. Support for the night will come from local house selector Billy Scurry.
