  • Boiler Room will stage its first live-streamed event in Berlin on Tuesday, August 23rd. Having gotten its start in March of 2010, Boiler Room is now one of the leading sites of its kind in the English speaking world. As Ali Gitlow mentioned in her piece on the ascent of the medium, Boiler Room hosts sets by acclaimed house, techno and bass music artists and beams them out to 148,000 viewers each month. Each event is intimate and guestlist-only, and next week's edition at Stattbad Wedding, a converted spa and bathhouse, is no exception. Berlin-based Delsin artist Redshape and this week's RA podcaster, Kassem Mosse, will both play live, pushing their respective techno and deep house styles. Warp/K7's Jimmy Edgar will DJ, and breakthrough Berlin-based producer Objekt will also get behind the decks.
