Robert Babicz hits Dublin

- Robert Babicz headlines The Twisted Pepper on Saturday, October 1st. The Dublin club's Saturday night bash is presented by Bodytonic's POGO, and on this occasion We Are Electronic are on board too. The promoters have joined forces to bring an eclectic lineup to Dublin with veteran Babicz topping the bill as Rob Acid, his 90s acid house alter ego. The Polish-born, German-based DJ and producer has been on the scene for over two decades; his aesthetic has changed with the times and seen him move towards techno as of late, but he remains as prolific as ever, releasing on labels like Systematic, Bedrock and his own Babiczstyle imprint, which he founded last year. Babicz's acid set will be offset by cosmic disco don Prins Thomas. The Norwegian DJ and producer has been running the label Full Pupp with Steve Kotiey for six years, and just released his first solo LP last year. Dublin DJs Giles Armstrong and Louis Scully, plus Galway's Jimmy Penguin provide support. Tickets are available here on RA.
