Adultnapper brings Scissor & Thread to Washington DC

- Anthony Collins will join the NYC artist for a 'sewcase' of their new label next week.
- Next week on the eve of Thanksgiving, Stranger Than Paradise and Deep Secrets will host Francis Harris, AKA Adultnapper, and a 'sewcase' of the new Scissor & Thread label at The Warehouse in Washington DC. The label is a Brooklyn-based collaboration between Harris, French DJ Anthony Collins, Halcyon shop owner Shawn Schwartz and Atlanta's Soco Audio boss Michael Scott, and is on the verge of releasing its fourth limited-edition vinyl after launching earlier this year. While both Harris and Collins have plenty of prior experience crafting functional house and techno, Scissor & Thread reveals an affinity for lush, vocal-laden tunes that meander away from the dancefloor. For this DC party, Harris will DJ alongside Collins as Frank and Tony. Harris will also show off his new alias, lightbluemover, in an appearance with Scissor & Thread artist black light smoke, and if a recent photo is any indicator, they should be armed with plenty of hardware for their live set together.
