  • Stereosonic sideshows have been announced for Swiss techno producer Deetron and Dirtybird label manager Claude VonStroke. Known for his soulful approach to techno, Deetron's musical career spans across three decades and includes a number of releases on long running Belgian label Music Man Records. His latest mix CD for Melbourne imprint Balance Music dropped only a few weeks ago and is a somewhat conceptual release, with the two discs being split into 'digital' and 'analogue,' representative of the Deetron's passion for both formats and belief that the two can happily co-exist. You can hear more from the Swiss DJ in his recent RA Exchange podcast. San Francisco house producer Claude VonStroke, having also recently contributed to the RA Podcast series, has had a busy 2011 with a packed touring calendar including a number of visits to the UK and mainland Europe, as well as dates all around America. Makeovers, a compilation showcasing a selection of VonStroke's remixes since 2005, was released in July through his Dirtybird label. This will be his fifth trip to Australia in as many years. Reckless Republic will be presenting both shows down at The Spice Cellar. Deetron joins Deep Space Network luminary Move D on November 26th, and Claude VonStroke will be playing a free Thursday night gig on December 1st. Tickets to the Deetron show are available through RA.
