The online magazine will host their first club night this Thursday at London's Corsica Studios.
DIN launched in May of this year with the goal to "promote new and established artists and their material in order to share our enthusiasm for this music." On Thursday night at Corsica Studios in London that music will come from exclusively Bristol-based artists, with Tectonic boss Pinch taking the headlining slot. They host the DJ, producer and label head at a particularly fruitful time: Pinch just announced details of a forthcoming mix for fabric, while his collaborative full-length with Shackleton recently dropped to rave reviews. Also making the journey down the M4 will be Gemmy, one of Punch Drunk's newest talents, Kahn, and the currently high flying Kowton of Idle Hands fame.
Looking after room two will be blog, party and label Get Some, who've lined up Simbad, Kashmir Kid, 2nd Drop Records, Crypt and Ouzo Beats. Anything from the darker reaches of dubstep through the carnival-esque UK funky should be expected across the two rooms. It's all for a good cause as well: proceeds from the night will go to mental health charity Mind.
