- Soma Records will release the Spanish artist's first album in seven years this March.
Madrid-based DJ and producer Alex Under has a new album in the works called La Maquina De Bolas, due for release in March.
Throughout the '00s Under churned out minimal techno records on a regular basis for labels like Trapez or his own CMYK imprint, but La Maquina De Bolas comes at the end of a bit of a dry spell: it will be his first solo release since 2010, and arrives seven years after his first album, Dispositivos De Mi Granja. Aside from the upcoming El Alma del Tiempo EP, the album will be Under's first appearance on longtime techno institution Soma Records. As you might guess, the album is a thematically driven piece of work: its title is Spanish for "The Ball Machine," which sheds some light on the odd-looking tracklist.
