Items & Things head to Spy Bar

- Magda, Troy Pierce and Marc Houle will bring the sounds of their re-launched label to Chicago next month.
- Chicago's Spy Bar will host an Items & Things label party with Magda, Troy Pierce and Marc Houle on Saturday, March 17th. The three minimal techno artists may always be associated with Minus, but in 2011 they officially parted ways with the label to focus on Items & Things, which they founded in 2006. Seven EPs have come out on Items & Things since its relaunch last year, including some of Magda and Houle's first solo material on a label other than Minus. Next up is a new LP from Houle, entitled Undercover. To help keep things underground, the group has started a series of intimate events called Down & Out, which they'll take to Spy Bar on St. Patrick's Day. As usual, Magda and Pierce will DJ and Houle will play live. Dino G. from Spy Bar rounds out the night's bill. Early bird tickets to the party are available here on RA.
