The Amsterdam-based duo will play three stateside gigs over the next two weekends.
Juju & Jordash will make their US debut with three live shows over the next two weeks, starting this Friday in New York.
Gal "Juju" Aner and Jordan "Jordash" Czamanski grew up in Israel, but now they live in Amsterdam where their psychedelic take on house music has made them a fixture of the local label Dekmantel and earned them spots on recent compilations for Rush Hour and Future Times. As of late they've been known to team up with Heidelberg house favorite Move D for jam sessions under the name Magic Mountain High—an EP from that collaboration is supposedly in the works.
First up on Juju & Jordash's US mini-tour is a set in the front room at The Bunker, (while the Sandwell District crew plays in the back), followed by a night in Philadelphia hosted by Inciting. Morphosis, who recently appeared on split EP with the duo, will also play at both of those parties. Next Friday, Juju & Jordash will head to San Francisco for the tour's only West Coast date (a previously reported LA gig has been canceled) to share a bill with DVS1 at Beatbox.
