- The Montreal producer will play his first US date of the year in April at Electric Pickle.
Akufen will play Miami's Electric Pickle on April 19th.
The elusive Montreal producer, DJ, and label boss has been quiet on most fronts lately, with 2012 marking his first solo release in eight years with the Battlestar Galacticlown EP on his own label Musique Risquée. Akufen, whom RA's Todd. L Burns called "one of microhouse's founding fathers" currently has no other dates booked in the US, so by all accounts this will be a rare appearance in 2012. In May and June, however, Akufen will play dates in Mexico, Paris, and Moscow.
