  • iZotope launch new synth, Iris image
  • iZotope have announced details of a new soft synth, Iris. Iris is being billed as a "visual instrument," into which you can feed audio in order to explore and manipulate its spectral details. As demonstrated in the video below, users can layer audio to create an infinite range of sounds and combinations. Iris maps audio across a keyboard based on its "intelligent" root note detection system. On-board effects include reverb, distortion and delay. Amp envelopes and LFOs are also available for modulation purposes. The synth comes bundled with a total of 500 patches and 4GBs worth of samples.
iZotope's Iris is available now priced $149.
