- The three-LP, one-CD set will come out on the London producer's own Woe To The Septic Heart imprint.
Shackleton has put together a new box set of unreleased material.
FACT has the details on the lavishly-packaged set, which will come out on Woe To The Septic Heart, the label Shackleton founded in 2010 to release an EP with the same title. It will mark the label's first release since that 12-inch and Shackleton's first significant package of new material after his all-original Fabric 55 mix CD, following-up on a few EPs for Honest Jon's last year.
The full box will consist of three pieces of 12-inch vinyl, one CD and a 12-inch art booklet by frequent collaborator Zeke Clough. The first CD is called Music for the Quiet Hour and contains vocals from Vengeance Tenfold, who has appeared previously on Shackleton tracks like "The Rope Tightens" and "Death Is Not Final," spread over a five-track suite. The second disc is called The Drawbar Organ EPs, containing nine new instrumental tracks. According to the man himself, the box set has already been sent out and will be available "as soon as the shops get it."
