Maceo Plex heads to Dallas

- The prolific DJ and producer will headline a night with SOUNDSLIKE next Friday.
- Maceo Plex will play a SOUNDSLIKE party at Sandaga 813 in Dallas next Friday. A US native now living in Spain, Eric Estornel first started DJing in Dallas during his teenage years. He's produced dozens of techno records under the Maetrik moniker in the two decades since then, but these days he's just as well known as Maceo Plex, the project that landed him in the #5 spot in last year's Top 100 DJs poll. With that name Estornel has appeared on the likes of Hot Creations, Visionquest and Crosstown Rebels (which put out his warmly-received Life Index LP early last year). He's also started his own label, Ellum Audio. At Sandaga 813 (formerly known as Minc Lounge), he'll team up with Brian Bejarano, a resident at As You Like It in San Francisco who used to throw parties in Dallas, and DragonLazer from SOUNDSLIKE.
