Stompy turns 20 in SF and LA

- Beginning next weekend, San Francisco's Stompy party will celebrate 20 years of operation with three parties. Since being founded by Preston Lytton, AKA Sweet P, Stompy has brought a seemingly endless assortment of house talent to San Francisco. These days, Stompy now operates its own digital music store, and is helmed by Sweet P and Deron Delgado. The two DJs will play at all three of the upcoming events, with Tasho, another Stompy resident, lending support in San Francisco. First up, though, is a visit to Los Angeles next Saturday for a Sublevel party with Doc Martin. (Parisian producer D'Julz is also confirmed for that one.) Back home in SF the following day, Stompy will team up with Sunset Music at Cafe Cocomo for their annual Memorial Day weekend event, a twelve-hour bash starting at 2:00 PM and featuring Radio Slave and Alex From Tokyo. Then on Friday, June 1st, the last anniversary event will take place at Monarch. Berlin-based house veteran Ian Pooley, who rarely plays stateside, is the guest for that night.
