- The triple-vinyl package features reworks of Phase's track from Peter van Hoesen, Ben Klock, Planetary Assault Systems and others.
Belgian techno label Token has put together a compilation of remixes of Binary Opposition, the 2012 single by Phase.
For fans of techno in its darkest and most relentless form, Binary Opposition is one of the biggest records of the year so far. This seems especially true for DJs: either one or both of the single's two "processes" have found their way into countless sets by the likes of Ben Klock, Peter Van Hoesen and Sigha—all three of whom contribute reinterpretations to the compilation. Other reworks come from Planetary Assault Systems, label newcomer Ctrls and Inigo Kennedy, a London producer who, along with Phase, delivers the lion's share of Token's output. Entitled Binary Opposition Reprocessed, the collection is out later this month digitally and as a three-part vinyl package.
