The young drum & bass label will take over a room at this month's Genesis party in London.
London label Diffrent will have a showcase at Genesis on June 23rd.
Diffrent was founded in 2010 by a collective of London-based producers headed up by Hunchbak and Dexta to provide a home for music that they saw as dodging the "soullessness" of modern drum & bass music. The label has been going strong since, with a review on RA calling their latest single by Jekyll "experimental but powerful." Their takeover of Room 2 of Hidden will be a family affair, featuring not only Jekyll but the label's founders, as well as label associate Arkaik, Fathom Audio's Billion, and Genesis residents Skatman B, In:Vision, and Lost Soul, with MC XL on mic duties.
Meanwhile, Genesis' main room will be a relatively star-studded affair, featuring Exit boss D-Bridge alongside jungle veteran Doc Scott and Ram Records' Xtrah, plus Dispatch/Renegade Hardware signee Amoss. MC support for the night will come from SP:MC, Sense, Codebreaker, and MC PM. Tickets for the event are available here on RA.
