Four Tet billed for Meredith 2012

- Meredith have announced their 2012 festival lineup, which includes English producer producer Four Tet. The annual festival, which takes place at The Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre roughly two hours west of Melbourne, is preparing for its 22nd instalment this December. While the event generally leans more towards the indie end of the spectrum, the lineup always includes a handful of quality electronic acts and DJs which in the past few years have included DJ Harvey, Pantha Du Prince, Pilooski and Virgo Four. Joining Four Tet at the 2012 festival will be Quebecois singer and producer Grimes, post-punk legends Primal Scream and Melbourne house and disco mainstays Otologic. For fans of comedy, J.B. Smoove—known to most as Leon from HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm—will MC the Sunday portion of the festival plus the Meredith Gift, the festival's infamous nude footrace.
