The Detroit duo are booked to play four shows next month.
Octave One will make their way to Australia this September to play shows in four cities.
Detroit brothers Lenny and Lawrence Burden have been among some of the city's key figures in the techno scene since their first releases on Transmat back in 1990. They established their 430 West imprint in the same year, a celebrated label which housed records from the likes of Terrence Parker, Eddie Fowlkes and Jay Denham, along with the bulk of the Burden brothers' catalogue. Last year saw the start of the Octave One Revisited Series, which saw the duo offer up a range of high profile remixes of their back catalogue, including some of their own reworks sitting alongside contributions from Aril Brikha, Sandwell District and a number of others.
The duo only made their Australian debut, which garnered high praise, in January of 2011 and this will already be their second return visit since. The tour kicks off on September 14th at The Mercat Basement in Melbourne for a Smalltown party with a special four-hour versus set from Mike Callander and Dave Pham, followed by a show at Sydney's Goldfish on the 15th. They head to Electric Circus in Adelaide on September 21st, and end their trip in Perth with The Likes Of You at The Bakery Artrage Complex. Tickets to both the Melbourne and Sydney shows are available here on RA.
