An updated version of iZotope's software channel strip is now available.
iZotope has announced details of their mixing-focussed plug-in, Alloy 2.
Alloy 2 boasts six main tools: EQ, dynamics, exciter, de-esser, transient shaper and limiter. Those familiar with the first version of Alloy should know that this update contains a redesigned exciter module, an overhauled multi-band transient shaper and a range of new EQ filters. Its GUI has also been revamped, with larger controls and a new overview panel. Alloy 2 ships with 250 presets. iZotope's Alloy 2 is now available priced $149 until 6th September 2012 and $199 thereafter. Alloy 1 owners will be offered an upgrade price of $79.
