  • Objekt will play two parties in the US this autumn. Just a year after the release of his first 12-inch, the Berlin-based, UK born TJ Hertz has is a fast-rising name in dance music. Describing his sound as a "convoluted mess of elektrology and teknology, 3-step, bass-core, post windmill, proto-minimal wankstep, gondola, shithouse, acid wonk, no more, no less," he takes a techno approach to UK-friendly bass music, and his recorded DJ sets thus far have seen him tackle a rather unforgiving brand of techno. He'll cross the Atlantic to play in the States for the first time this year, starting with Seattle's Decibel Festival on September 27th, where he'll play a Surefire showcase with Kuedo and xxxy at the Baltic Room. After that, he'll hit New York City on October 1st for Francois K's Deep Space night at Cielo. Tickets for that night are available on RA.
