Om Unit and Kutmah will also play the two-day London festival in September.
The 2012 edition of Brick Lane Music Festival will take place on September 15th and 16th.
Returning for a sixth year, the annual event will take over four venues on the East London high street over the weekend. The Big Chill Bar will see a Commotion take over on the Saturday featuring Boiler Room music director Thristian, Kiss FM jock DJ MK and Moxie from Deviations among others, while Sunday will highlight resident DJs like Oli D.A.B., Robin, Bruk Out and Physically Fit. With a bigger emphasis on live music, Café 1001 will feature beatboxers and dancers in addition to the musical talent, which consists of UK veteran Ray Keith, London renaissance manOm Unit and exiled-LA beatmaker Kutmah.
Highlights of The Vibe Bar's lineup include famed reggae selector David Rodigan, Rinse's bashment DJ The Heatwave, Swamp81 boss Loefah and his associate newcomer Klose One on the Sunday, with the Saturday featuring a number of Mexican artists and groups. The entry for all venues during the festival is free with a wristband, which you can get by making a small donation to the NSPCC charity.
Cafe 1001's basement venue Truman Brewery will play host to the festival's official afterparty on the Saturday night, featuring Hypercolour founder Alex Jones and Diynamic's Betoko. Tickets for that event are available on RA.
