- Jonny Nash and Kyle Martin will release their first LP on Lovefingers' label in October.
Land of Light, a collaboration by London artists Jonny Nash and Kyle Martin, will release its self-titled debut album in October.
The LP will see release on ESP Institute, the New York-based label run by Andrew Hogge, AKA Lovefingers. Both Nash and and Martin have appeared on ESP Institute before—the former with with a single under the name Sombrero Galaxy, the latter in the form of remixes as Spectral Empire. According to a press release, their work as Land of Light "has no preconceived concept aside from the simple and natural flow of their collaboration." This rings true with their upcoming album, which presents six extended cuts of analog synths, palm-muted guitars and breezy, slo-mo beats. Land of Light was recorded off and on over the past three years at the duo's studio in North London.
