- This November, the Brooklyn label will reissue the Swedish electronic artist's debut album, Growing Seeds.
Lust For Youth will re-release his debut album, Growing Seeds, this November on Sacred Bones Records.
Lust For Youth is Hannes Norrvide, a Swedish electronic artist now based in Denmark. He first recorded Growing Seeds in his bedroom during the summer of 2011, then revamped it after moving from Gothenburg to Copenhagen the following year, tweaking the songs to create a sound that's "less noise and more drums." In the meantime Norrvide also brought a collaborator into the fold: Loke Rahbek, who now plays live as part of Lust For Youth.
Growing Seeds saw limited release on the Italian label Avant! before being picked up by Sacred Bones, the Brooklyn label that's home to acts like Zola Jesus and Crystal Stilts. It will now be widely available on vinyl and CD, with three extra tracks on the CD version. You can stream the first single, "Behind Curtains," right here.
