  • Marco Carola has announced of series of North American appearances later this fall. Since he got started in the '90s, the Italian techno producer has risen through the ranks to become one of the genre's most prominent artists. In addition to starting up a few labels himself, including Zenit and the prolific One Thousand imprint, he's become a member of Richie Hawtin's Minus family. Though he was once well-known for a technically complex three-deck setup, these days he's using a slightly simpler set-up, which he talked about in his RA Podcast last year. Carola's North American stint starts on October 25th in San Francisco, at Vessel's Thursday night Base party, followed by Drai's After Hours in Vegas and a headlining spot at Space Miami's Halloween event. On Halloween proper, Carola will take over Cipriani's in Manhattan with Leon for a special party, which he claims is the first time the upscale nightclub has ever hosted a techno set. Two shows in Montreal and Toronto on November 9th and 10th make up the Canadian leg of the tour, before it finishes on the 17th in Chicago at Spy Bar.
