Laurel Halo, Donato Dozzy and Pearson Sound are on the bill for Bodytonic's annual festival, to be held this weekend in Dublin.
The sixth edition of The Beatyard festival kicks off tomorrow and runs through the end of the weekend at the Twisted Pepper and the Bernard Shaw in Dublin.
As Bodytonic, the music website and promotion company behind the festival, puts it, The Beatyard is "about mashing into one weekend all the good ideas everyone involved at Bodytonic usually spreads out over a year." The result is a string of shows held at the two clubs where Bodytonic does most of its events. While the programming involves everything from art exhibitions to food to bands, there's a heavy emphasis on electronic music.
Among the bigger names on the bill for the weekend are Italian techno maestro Donato Dozzy, New Yorker artists Laurel Halo and Mike Slott, Hessle Audio co-founder Pearson Sound and conceptual producer (and Radiophone Workshop creative director) Matthew Herbert, who will be DJing. You can find a full listing of the artists involved at the festival's official website and a breakdown of the festival's programming on Bodytonic's promoter page here on RA.
