We dive into the clubbing options from across the UK.
Looking to get your rave on this New Year's? Join us as we take a whistle stop tour of UK events taking place this December 31st and January 1st.
West and Wales
We start out in Bristol with the city's foremost "big room" experience, In:Motion. Sub Focus have been drafted in to helm the main room, while the second warehouse will be the preserve of Swamp 81 and Subloaded, with Loefah, Pinch, Boddika, Peverelist and Kowton getting rowdy. More traditional house and disco will soundtrack the next afternoon/evening at the club: Tale Of Us, Eats Everything, Subb-an, Heidi and Todd Terje will be entertaining until 02:00 AM on January 2nd. Elsewhere in Bristol there's a Butterz takeover of Basement 45 on New Year's Eve, while over in Cardiff on New Year's Day, Darius Syrossian steps up for Aura.
North
Manchester has a fair few options for you to consider. Content's party at Joshua Brooks on NYE should feel nice and house-y with Delano Smith and Cottam both appearing, while Sankeys has The Martinez Brothers, Phil Weeks and Richy Ahmed all billed. James Zabiela, Benoit & Sergio and Simian Mobile Disco represent a few of Warehouse Project's highlights for the 31st; their enormous 2012 closing party the following evening rolls with Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler, Maceo Plex, Four Tet, Joy Orbison, Julio Bashmore and plenty of others besides.
Moving on to Sheffield, Faction head to Dirty Little Secret for a bash involving techno (James Ruskin, Regis) and house (Gerd, agnes, Jay Shepheard). Your best bet for Leeds, meanwhile, is Mono_cult's NYD bash at The Faversham. Henrik Schwarz, Jackmaster, Bicep and Mano Le Tough should provide a well-scope of sounds.
Scotland
Edinburgh's Liquid Rooms is the city's tastiest looking option on NYE. Musika have lined up a triple threat with Joris Voorn, Derrick Carter and Darius Syrossian. (Carter will also be spinning for Headway & Autodisco at The Reading Rooms in Dundee that same evening.) And Glasgow has a few picks to keep you moving this Hogmanay. Glasgow City Social Club host Gavin Herlihy at Saint Judes; Subculture at the Sub Club sees Harri & Domenic and "special friends" bringing in the New Year; and Optimo set-up at The Glue Factory with current RA podcasterAuntie Flo as their guest.
