- Concrete Music will kick off with a three-part EP series featuring tracks from Jared Wilson, Bleak and Awanto 3 among others.
Parisian party Concrete will launch its own record label, Concrete Music, in February.
The Concrete parties, which take place on a boat docked at 69 port de la Rapée, have been credited with helping to reinvigorate the French capital's club scene, and featured prominently in RA's recent Real Scenes: Paris documentary (Concrete are also involved in the recently announced Weather Festival). The label wing will launch with three separate vinyl-only EPs released under the umbrella title Textures I, with a focus on combining local and international artists who have performed at past Concrete events.
The first EP sees Detroit figure Jared Wilson appear alongside Dutchman Awanto 3, Paris-based producer S3A and Samuel André Madsen. The second 12-inch features Deeply Rooted House alumnus Bleak as well as Dario Zenker, Abdulla Rashim and Behzad & Amarou, while the third instalment is a three-track affair with music from Cabanne, Priku and Binh, a resident at Berlin's Club der Visionäre.
