States of Being begins in LA with Andres

- L.I.E.S. artist Delroy Edwards is also confirmed as a new underground party kicks off later this month.
- A new bi-monthly party called States of Being is set to launch in Los Angeles on Friday, February 22nd. Organisers say States of Being will focus on "the classic American house sound and the DJs and producers who are carrying these traditions into the present". The two guests at the launch event certainly live up to that mission statement: Detroit veteran Andrés, who produced RA's #1 track of 2012, "New For U," will headline, with support from LA native Delroy Edwards, who's been turning heads recently with his appearances on Brooklyn's L.I.E.S. imprint (which also happened to grab the #1 spot on our 2012 top labels poll). States of Being residents James Del Barco, Cromie and DJ Jordan will each take turns on the decks as well. The party is set to take place from 10:00PM to 5:00AM at a venue in downtown LA. Although the exact location has not yet been revealed, details will be sent out the day of the event to those who RSVP. Tickets are available here on RA.
