- Friends of Friends will release a collection of early recordings by the NYC-based artist in April.
Evenings' early recordings will be remastered for a new compilation called Yore, out on April 16th.
Harlem-based producer Nathan Broaddus is the latest addition to the Friends of Friends roster, originally hailing from Virginia. Evenings makes slow and subtle beat music with his own guitar and vocals, which fits in with other laid-back back interpretations of hip-hop on the label from artists like Shlohmo and Ernest Gonzales. Yore is his first full release on the imprint, following an appearance on January compilation Show Me the Future. The LP will collect and remaster tracks from his earlier releases Lately and North Dorm. Exclusive new remixes from Ann Arbor artist Shigeto and Montreal producer Munno also feature.
