  • Julio Bashmore is set to play his first Australian shows next month, with T. Williams joining him for the tour. After a highly successful 2011, last year saw the Bristol producer continue to build his reputation as one of the most exciting young acts in UK house, launching his own Broadwalk Records imprint and releasing summer anthem "Au Seve." While he may have eased off the accelerator pedal on the production front over the past 12 months, his touring schedule increased dramatically, visiting more than a dozen countries, including sets at Frankfurt's Robert Johnson and Croatia's Hideout Festival. Bashmore's first Australian visit will begin in Perth on March 8th at Grand Lane, a colourful city alleyway featuring a 99-metre mural painted by Australian artists, as part of a two day event run by Next Hype. The following night he plays The Met in Brisbane before heading to Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre in Victoria for the three-day Golden Plains festival alongside acts like Moodymann and Toro Y Moi. His Melbourne show will be at Brown Alley on March 15th, with his final gig taking place in Sydney on the 16th at the Oxford Art Factory. With the exception of Golden Plains, London jock T. Williams will be playing at each show on the tour. Tickets to the Melbourne party can be purchased here on RA.
