- The Denver crew's anniversary soiree will take place at Norad next weekend.
Denver's AfterHours Anonymous crew will throw a two-year anniversary event at Norad Dance Bar next Saturday, headlined by Thugfucker.
AA actually threw parties in Denver for a few years in the mid-'00s. After a long break, the concept was restarted with an early-morning session on New Year's Day 2011. Since then, the promoters have been involved in plenty of events at clubs like Norad and other spaces around the Mile High City, including collaborations with fellow locals Mahesh Presents and Roots Events. The parties have featured a wide array of house and techno talent, such as Max Cooper, Chris Liebing, Dixon and Donato Dozzy. (AA and Norad just hosted Nick Curly's Denver debut earlier this month.) Thugfucker, the veteran house and disco duo who played last year's anniversary celebration, will return to headline this event. Handling the night's support is DJ Foxx, a former fixture of Denver's house scene now based in Miami.
