- The producer otherwise known as Torn Hawk will release an album of early recordings in June.
Luke Wyatt will release Teen Hawk in June 2013.
Though the Brooklyn-based producer is primarily known as a video artist, his music runs the gamut from lo-fi house to krautrock. Last year he released the Tarifa EP on L.I.E.S. An album of "mulch synth grime house" called 10 For Edge Tek followed at the beginning of 2013, and he also explored higher definition sounds with a self-titled EP under his new Lossmaker alias.
Teen Hawk will see release under the producer's given name through London-based label Emotional Response. The LP focuses on recordings dominated by "looped guitar, kraut rhythms and drone atmospherics" from the early days of Wyatt's musical career. You can check out the LP for yourself with a preview stream over at the label's SoundCloud. The record will come on vinyl, CD and digital.
