Kim Ann Foxman and Lapalux have also been announced for the festival's four Studio dance parties.
Lineups for four Studio parties at Sydney's Vivid LIVE winter festival have been announced.
With organisers already revealing that the annual citywide celebration would be headlined by Kraftwerk performing highlights from their catalogue over four nights, details of the other dance-focused events taking place in The Studio underneath the Sydney Opera will present a showcase on May 25th, with Brainfeeder producer Lapalux heading up a bill which also includes Norway's Cashmere Cat, recent FC signings Touch Sensitive and Charles Murdoch, as well as the Future Classic DJs. On the 31st, Goodgod Small Club will host another night of hip-hop, footwork, dancehall and more, with RiFF RaFF, DJ Rashad and DJ Manny joined by club regulars Levins and Pelvis.
After 18 months of operation, Astral People will be hosting their first Vivid event on June 1st, calling on Omar-S to play his first Australian show since 2009. Africa Hitech and Jon Convex will also be appearing, as will Astral's own Dro Carey, Alba and Cliques. The final Studio show will be on June 2nd, with the iconic Club Kooky celebrating their 18th birthday in the company of New York's own Kim Ann Foxman and the flamboyant Aérea Negrot, both of whom originally worked with Hercules & Love Affair. The extensive local lineup also features Stereogamous and Stephen Allkins.
