- Four gigs, including a b2b set with Ben Klock at Movement in Detroit, are coming up for Dettmann.
- Marcel Dettmann is getting ready to cross the Atlantic next weekend for four gigs in North America. The Berlin-based DJ and Berghain resident will cut a quick trail through three cities on the eastern half of the continent. First up, next Thursday, is an Input night at Output in Brooklyn. Fellow Osgut Ton label mate Steffi is also on the bill at that one, along with Anthony Parasole, a local stalwart and the mind behind RA's recent label of the month, The Corner—and, as that feature reveals, one of Dettmann's stateside friends. Next, he'll make his Toronto debut with an "xxxtended set" for Platform at Footwork. Dettmann will then make two appearances in Detroit during Movement 2013. On Saturday the 25th, he'll link up again with Chris Liebing's CLR crew for an afterparty at St. Andrew's Hall. Back in 2011, Dettmann shared the decks with UK veteran Radio Slave at CLR's Movement afterparty, and the two DJs are confirmed for another back-to-back set this time around. Then on Sunday evening, Dettmann will head to Hart Plaza itself, playing back-to-back with another Berghain resident, Ben Klock, at Movement's Underground stage.
