  • Berlin's Ancient Methods will drop a new 12-inch soon. Originally a production team made of Baeks and Trias, Ancient Methods is now just the latter. Debuting in 2007, most of the pair's output has been released through their imprint of the same name, showcasing a raw, down tempo and highly swung form of techno reserved for the most brash of DJ sets. In true Ancient Methods fashion, there's little info on the release out there, other than that it's due out at the end of the month and sees Trias stretch out across four tracks that are very much in the style we've come to expect—gritty, slow moving and groovy. You can hear samples over at his SoundCloud page. Tracklist A1 Knights & Bishops A2 Kings & Pawns B1 When All Is Said And Done B2 Castling Becomes Inevitable Ancient Methods will release AM007 in May 2013.
