It'll be Blake's second lengthy trek across the continent in 2013.
UK artist James Blake will head out on another massive live tour across North America in October and November.
Blake is certainly not taking it easy after the release of his well-received sophomore LP, Overgrown, earlier this year. He already gigged extensively across the continent a few months ago, and by the time he returns for this long visit, he'll have toured Australia and Japan—and that's all to go along with the usual glut of appearances across Europe.
In all, some two dozen shows—mostly in the US, along with Canadian stops in Montreal and Vancouver—have been confirmed, starting in late October. After a set at Treasure Island Music Festival in San Francisco (where he's billed with the likes of Atoms For Peace, Beck and Animal Collective), the tour proper will kick off in Los Angeles with two gigs: one at the Wiltern Theatre on Tuesday the 22nd, and another the next day out on the lawns of the famed Hollywood Forever Cemetery. More bookings in the Southwest, including three in Texas, will lead to the tour's East Coast segment, highlighted by two-night runs at 9:30 Club in Washington, DC and New York City's Terminal 5. Shows in the Midwest will follow, after which the tour winds down in the Pacific Northwest by way of Vancouver, Seattle and finally Portland on November 21st.
While Toronto isn't on the autumn itinerary, fans there can see Blake in action at a one-off date at Molson Canadian Amphitheatre on August 4th.
