The week-long gay festival will also host Horse Meat Disco and Francois K for the first week of August.
The next edition of Montreal's Divers/Cité will take place from July 29th through August 4th.
Now going for 21 years, Montreal's original gay pride event is a week-long celebration of diversity with "a spirit of sharing, solidarity and openness with the world." The festival encompasses everything from film to drag performances to dance parties, with a particular emphasis on outdoor events.
Musically, the meat of Divers/Cité is its open air events in the Old Port of Montreal, but nightclubs Stereo, Apollon and PEOPL. will also play home to indoor afterparties. The programming is a mixture of more mainstream names like Infected Mushroom and a healthy amount of Montreal locals, plus a handful of international headliners.
Highlights include Saturday's outdoor Def Mix party with Frankie Knuckles, David Morales and Hector Romero, while Deep Space's Francois K and UK selectors Horse Meat Disco will headline Sunday's Le Grand Bal festivities.
