Derrick May and The Orb will also touch down at the Victoria festival in September.
The festival's sixth editions features its biggest quotient of electronic artists to date. Typically a mix of styles, Rifflandia's headliners include rapper Big Boi, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, Death From Above 1979 and Stars—but there's also producers and DJs such as LCD Soundsystem members Pat Mahoney and James Murphy, and ambient techno pioneers The Orb.
Rifflandia takes place across more than ten venues, with Royal Athletic Park the main attraction in the daytime. Once the sun sets, the festival disperses across downtown Victoria, hitting clubs like Market Square, Sugar and Lucky Bar. The latter will host RBMA showcases each night, with appearances from Ikonika, Anthony Naples, Basic Soul Unit and Prison Garde.
Other dance music names booked for the weekend include Detroit's Derrick May, Stones Throw's Dam-Funk, Thievery Corporation's Rob Garza and West Coast hip-hop head EPROM. Kid Koala will also present his 12 Bit Blues live show.
