  • Zukunft Ohne Menschen, a new work from Wolfgang Voigt, will see release on Kompakt sublabel Profan next month. The album is an outgrowth of Kompakt's 20-year anniversary celebration, which has been rolling throughout 2013. The Art Cologne art fair invited the label to contribute to the year's proceedings, so Voigt, one of the label's key figures, created a manually operated arpeggiator to play music at the fair's entrance. The resulting installation was a full-on multimedia experience, including video, "digital painting" and, of course, music, all of which came together in ten parts. Zukunft Ohne Menschen documents the installation, with ten tracks and ten visual art pieces included in the limited-edition package. Tracklist 01. Z.O.M 1.1 02. Z.O.M 1.2 03. Z.O.M 1.3 04.
