- Music Man will release the Swiss house luminary's second album, featuring Seth Troxler, in November.
Deetron will release his second full-length in November.
Music Over Matter comes eight years after his debut album, Twisted, which was also released by Belgian mainstay Music Man Records. Over a decade-plus career, Deetron has become known for his glossy take on techno and deep house, but even more so for his skills behind the decks, earning plaudits for his blistering three-deck sets. He's released a few mix CDs in his time as well, most recently 2011's Balance instalment which showed off his prowess in both analogue and digital DJing.
Music Over Matter is a collaboration-heavy affair with a newfound focus on vocals, featuring turns from Ben Westbeech, Fritz Kalkbrenner and George Maple. Seth Troxler, Cooly G, Ripperton and Hercules & Love Affair all make appearances as well, for a record described as "a prismatic mosaic of vocal textures and expertly crafted grooves" in an accompanying press release.
The Westbeech-featuring "Rhythm" will be released as a single prior to the album, and follows "Count On Me," which was just released this week on Aus Records as the label's 50th release.
