- The Swedish producer otherwise known as Agaric will put out his first solo album under his own name next month.
Patrik Skoog, AKA Agaric, has revealed the details for a new album called Exit Earth.
These days the Swedish producer and DJ, who's been active—and quite prolific—for some 15 years, is probably best known as Agaric (though he's made plenty of records credited to his own name as well). Drumcode, Kontra-Musik and Ovum (home to the 2011 debut Agaric full-length Who Made Up The Rules?) are just some of the labels that have issued Skoog's tracks, along with We Are, the imprint he's been operating since 2005.
Exit Earth is the first album Skoog has produced under his own name. It's set for a late-October release through London's Third Ear, and while the producer has often blurred the lines between techno and house, this one is billed strictly as a techno album. It'll be available on 2xLP vinyl along with a digital version featuring two extra tracks.
