- Disturbance will take over arenaclub on a weekly basis.
Frankfurt techno label CLR will launch a new weekly residency called Disturbance at Berlin's arenaclub.
Located in Kreuzberg, arenaclub has long been a home to no-nonsense techno. The respected Grounded Theory and Dystopian parties have both been associated with the space for the past few years, as have a slew of lesser-known local promoters. CLR's Disturbance parties are due to take place every Thursday, and, as you can expect, will exclusively host techno. It appears to be filling a gap in Berlin's clubbing market as, despite the techno's immense popularity across the city, it doesn't hold a strong presence in the weeknight listings.
Due to kick off at 10 PM tonight, Monoloc and DJ Emerson are the only two acts announced for the night so far. A special guest has been enlisted to headline, but their identity won't be made known until they step up to the decks. Entry will cost you €10, but will be free before midnight.
