- The English synth trio will release a new album on Uncharted Audio at the end of the month.
Octavcat will release their next album on January 27th.
The English trio of Jamie Bradshaw and brothers Matt and Rich Cawte make rhythmic and experimental synth music with shades of glitch and IDM. They've already got three albums under their belt so far, including 2008's Hard As Snails on Uncharted Audio. They'll return to the London label for their next album, In Memory Of Old Gear, which as the title suggests is dedicated to "all the old gear used by the brothers that has ended up on eBay or in the skip," and was recorded on relatively ancient hardware. The vinyl version will only feature half the album tracks and is limited to 120 copies, while the digital comes with the full 11 tunes.
