- The Canadian duo will make their debut on 1080p with a cassette next week.
AT/NU will release Psi Grove on February 11th.
This is the first release from Canadian duo Igor Ivanov—otherwise known as Window—and Sami Blanco, who has previously recorded under the names Nacomi and Temple Volant (and others). Recorded over two weeks at Blanco's home in Montreal, a press release describes the tape as "trance-inspired hybrid techno," full of bright textures, tribalesque drums and sounds from the Korg Electribe. Apparently inspired by Ivanov's year-long stay in New Zealand, the album is meant to "attenuate the listener's neuro-vibrational energy through reprocessings of glassy, spaced out tropes of electronica." The record will come through Canadian imprint 1080p, on a run of 50 cassettes and digital.
We've got an exclusive stream of "Tans" here or below.
