The Rush Hour-affiliated selector is the next guest at Floating Points' disco, funk and soul throwdown.
The next edition of Floating Points' You're A Melody will go down at Plastic People on Thursday, April 24th.
The You're A Melody parties present Floating Points with the opportunity to dust off some heavy-duty EMT turntables and invite a guest along to play a selection of soul, disco, boogie and funk records. (A recording of the first edition, featuring Red Greg and Jeremy Underground Paris, was on our list of 2013's best online mixes).
Next up is Hunee, the LA-based DJ whose passion for disco and soul makes him a natural choice for You're A Melody. He'll be joined behind the decks by Floating Points, with the night starting at 10 PM and wrapping up at 2 AM.
The night forms part of the latest run of Thursday night parties at Plastic People. Other highlights include Beautiful Swimmers on April 3rd, Roman Flügel on April 17th, Andrew Weatherall and Sean Johnston (as A Love From Outer Space) on May 1st, Karizma on May 8th and the Studio Barnhus crew on May 15th.
Tickets to the events are available here on RA.
