The Detroit artist says that, after a two-decade career, he'll no longer put out records.
As FACT report, Dixon made the announcement via his Facebook page on April 12th. His brief statement read: "I'm retired after 20 years of making music. Thank you."
Dixon started producing in 1994, earning a cult following thanks to his minimal and experimental brand of techno. He put out four albums, including two in the past four years (2012's From The Far Future Pt. 2 and last year's Badge Of Honor). In 2013 he also started his own label, Reduction, which released four Dixon records produced under his real name and his Population One alias.
