The Hydra announce 2014 lineups

- The likes of Theo Parrish, Horse Meat Disco, Anthony Parasole and Kyle Hall will play this year's event series in London.
- The lineups for The Hydra's 2014 season have been revealed. Last month, we reported that the London event series was moving to a permanent home in East London, and they'd inaugurate the space over a three-party weekend at the end of August. (An RA-curated event with Carl Craig, Black Coffee, Matthew Herbert and more has been scheduled as the opening night.) A few weeks back, The Hydra also announced their 2014 partners would include Ostgut Ton, Erased Tapes and a slew of collaborations like Sound Signature & Running Back and FXHE & NonPlus+. They've now revealed exactly who will be playing these previously announced parties. Some of the bookings should have been fairly obvious based on the partnerships—Omar-S and Boddika will play the FXHE & NonPlus+ party, for example—but there are plenty of surprises as well. Some notable special guests are Moodymann, Joey Anderson and Leon Vynehall at the Kompakt/Electric Minds collaboration; Juan Atkins and Will Saul playing back-to-back with Trevino for Bugged Out and Dusky's The Next Step party; Redshape, Maurice Fulton and Marcellus Pittman (plus a currently under-wraps booking) at Running Back & Signature Sound; and Ryan Elliott and Anthony Parasole representing Berghain and Panorama Bar at the Ostgut Ton showcase. Legowelt, Moritz von Oswald, Miss Kittin and the whole of Horse Meat Disco are some of the other names you'll find sprinkled into this year's program.
