Swans, Tim Hecker and Julia Holter to play BasilicaSoundScape

- The Hudson, New York festival has announced its final lineup.
- BasilicaSoundScape, a three-day music, art, and literature festival in Hudson, New York, has announced its final lineup for September 12 through 14th. The festival, which takes places in a refurbished 19th century factory on the Hudson waterfront, has added experimental electronic artists Tim Hecker and Julia Holter, as well as the Gamelan Dharma Swara orchestra and British folk guitarist Michael Chapman. Previously announced performers include Deafheaven, Greg Fox (known for his work with Liturgy, Ben Frost, and Dan Deacon), Majical Cloudz and Swans, who will play a special two-hour set. BasilicaSoundScape’s programming also includes a wide range of literature, visual art and culinary experiences, with a number of readings, site-specific installations and performances scheduled throughout the weekend. Attendees can purchase camping spots ahead of time, with shuttles scheduled to run between the camping site and the venue.
