- 6 Years Of RKS features material old and new from Tickles, Roska himself and more.
Roska Kicks & Snares will turn six with a new compilation on September 29th.
The UK label started back in 2008 as a vanity project for UK funky producer Roska, releasing some of his most iconic early tracks including "Elevated Levels" and "In Your Handbag." In 2010 he started to turn his attention to other artists, racking up EPs from like-minded producers like DJ Naughty, MA1 and Champion.
6 Years Of RKS follows a similar fifth birthday celebration last year, and aside from tracks from Roska (and alter ego Bakongo) himself, it focuses on lesser-known members of the roster. Previously released tunes from Alex Parkin & Chris Lorenzo, Distro and Shox rub elbows with new material from New Zealand's Bass Fridge Project, Tickles and Mob Serenade, along with "Whaaat"—Roska's first new track for his imprint since 2009.
