Highlights include a Modern Love showcase and Mike Servito's birthday.
The Bunker will host three New York events in August and September featuring The Black Madonna, the Modern Love label crew and more.
Their August showcases will take place at Trans-Pecos, a DIY venue in Ridgewood, Queens that opened last year in the former Silent Barn space. Their first party will feature an eight-hour DJ set from frequent Bunker collaborator and Interdimensional Transmissions artist Patrick Russel on Saturday, August 16th. Their second will offer DJ sets from Bryan Kasenic, Mike Servito (who will be celebrating his birthday) and special guest The Black Madonna on Saturday, August 30th. Both dates are part of The Bunker Limited series, which occupies smaller venues and focuses on sets from resident DJs and longtime associates rather than touring headliners.
The Bunker will then return to Output in Williamsburg on Friday, September 19th. Their main room lineup will feature Modern Love label artists Andy Stott, Demdike Stare and Millie & Andrea all playing live, plus DJ sets by Miles Whittaker and Sean Canty. The Panther Room will host a combination live and DJ set from Function and Vatican Shadow, who are touring to support their forthcoming collaborative album Games Have Rules, plus a live set from Bunker artist Ulysses and a DJ set by Bryan Kasenic.
Tickets for all of these events are available on RA.
